Homey Koffee Maintenance Conditions
1. Within 6 Months of Purchase
If the product experiences a functional failure not caused by human damage within 6 months of the purchase date, you are entitled to free repair service (including parts and return shipping) upon presenting the official receipt and verification by an authorised Homey Koffee service technician.
2. Between 6–12 Months of Purchase
Free repair services (including parts) will be provided for non-human-related faults. Customers are responsible for both delivery and return shipping costs.
3. After 12 Months of Purchase
Repairs will incur a service fee of £50 (excluding parts). Parts are charged at the manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP). Customers are responsible for all shipping costs.
Water Quality & Limescale
- To prolong machine life and maintain brew quality, use filtered or softened drinking water; keep hardness below 50 ppm.
- Issues caused by hard water, limescale build-up, reduced heating efficiency, brewing irregularities, or blockages are not covered under free warranty.
- Descale regularly as instructed in the user manual. Damage caused by lack of maintenance will be subject to repair fees.
Homey Koffee Maintenance Service
- Products sold by Homey Koffee come with a full maintenance service, including inspection and replacement of parts where necessary.
- After repair, we will contact you to arrange return shipping. Shipping fees (where applicable) are covered by the customer; you may choose your preferred courier.
- Replaced parts include a 30-day warranty, limited to the same fault and non-human-related issues.
Circumstances Not Covered by Free Maintenance
- Warranty period expired.
- Product serial number does not match the purchase invoice or has been altered.
- Product purchased outside the United Kingdom.
- Use of non-Homey Koffee accessories or improper use.
- Cosmetic wear (scratches, discolouration, marks from regular use).
- Damage caused by human error, misuse, accidents, incorrect voltage, water damage, or dropping.
- Limescale build-up or blockages due to hard water or lack of maintenance.
- Repairs, modifications, or use of non-original parts by unauthorised personnel.
Important Notes
- Homey Koffee provides maintenance only for products sold directly by Homey Koffee.
- Warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
- Service may require a factory reset; Homey Koffee is not responsible for data loss.
- Homey Koffee reserves the right of final decision and interpretation of these terms.
